Feng Shui at Home

An Architect's Guide to Classical Principles in Modern Spaces

Feng Shui began as a way of reading land, light, and movement. This 40-minute course shows how those classical ideas map onto the apartments and houses we live in today — explained by an architect, without superstition.

About this course

Long before it became a list of tips about mirrors and plants, Feng Shui was a method for reading a site: where the land rose, where water ran, where light arrived, and how people moved through a place. Builders and scholars used it to decide where homes, temples, and towns should sit.

This course is taught by an architect. It translates that classical vocabulary into the language of design — daylight, air, circulation, and sightlines — and applies it to the spaces most of us actually live in, including apartments and condos.

It is a practical, 40-minute introduction. There are no predictions and no promises about luck — only the reasoning behind the tradition, the places where it overlaps with good architecture, and a checklist you can use to look at your own home with fresh eyes.
